If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you already have an idea of how much we care about local & artisan foods. What you might not know, though, is why we’re so darn crazy about this stuff.

From ketchup with pronounceable ingredients to humanely-raised veal, you’ll find a lot of random comestibles on our shelves. And the one thing they all have in common? The powerful story behind each and every product. Much of what we stock comes from artisans who hand-craft the items that cross our counters, most in small batches, many made specially for us. These are farmers, cooks, and generally brilliant folks who truly respect the environment at the source of what they make, which is just the way we like it.
